What does a nutrition coach do?

A nutrition coach tries to find the root causes of your symptoms. With me, you always get an person-centered consultation with focus on your individual needs. What I do complement
existing health care services. During a consultation we will find solutions that suit YOU best, all in order to get sustainable och long-term results. Nutrition advice includes anything from from dietary advice, stress recovery and breathing techniques, movement and exercise counselling, as well as guidance on how to get started with exercise and diet to prevent and deal with hormonal imbalances. I will support you all the way in your new and healthy lifestyle habits!

What can I as a PI (Paleo Institute) Health & Nutrition Coach help you with?

I can guide you in the following dietary approaches: Paleo, LCHF, Autoimmune, FODMAPS, Ketogenic diet and periodic fasting to improve your health.

What is functional medicine?

Functional medicine is a medical approach that focuses on identifying and addressing the root cause of disease. In functional medicine a science-based approach is applied to support many alternative medicine treatment methods. Main focus is given on diet and lifestyle measures.

What do we talk about in a consultation?

It is important for me to listen to your needs and understand your motives and expectations you have from our meeting. To begin with, we talk about your wishes, health problems or your need for change. Diet and lifestyle habits are important to discuss and we will go through your health history from a functional medicine perspective. Then we go through the health survey you have answered and blood tests we have agreed on in advance.

The first time we meet will take around 75–90 minutes. Together, we will decide on a weekly plan you can follow to achieve your goals and imporve your well-being. As functional nutrition coach I can help you understand the reasons behind your symptoms and optimize your health and well-being. I collaborate with several laboratories for different tests that you may need to take and we will book follow-up meetings. This is an investment in yourself and your well-being. Introduction 15-30 minutes – free

Here we talk about why you want to meet a nutrition coach, as well as your wishes and expectations for our collaboration. During that time you can get an idea for who I am as a person. You will receive an introduction to functional medicine, my working method and instructions on health survey and/ or laboratory tests I recommend prior to our first meeting.

Short consultation 30 min – 600 SEK

Have you already done blood tests but do not know what and how to do with the result? I read and analyzed your lab tests, explain the answers and give tips on actions or inspiration in how you can start your lifestyle changes for a healthier life.

We can meet in my clinic or communicate by video or phone. Prerequisite for all consultations is that you send the health survey (which you receive from me after booking) and possible test results at least three days in advance.

Nutrition & Health Coaching, 3 months package – 3.995 SEK

You get a 3-month individualized coaching package. Any additional tests are not included.
The payment can be divided into 2 months payment.

This package includes:

  • A health survey that is the basis of our conversation
  • Main consultation 75–90 min
    We map out your current state of health based on the health survey, blood panels and other underlying patterns that contribute to your health problems or why you want a change.
  • A detailed diet, exercise and lifestyle program that we discuss together during the meeting. It consists of tailor-made recommendations, weekly schedule, diet and lifestyle diary.
  • Two follow-up consultations, each 40-50 minutes
    Here we talk about your progress, challenges and obstacles. You get practical tips, motivation and more knowledge to succeed with your lifestyle change. Change takes time and part of the process may be resistance and that is totally normal. During the follow-up meetings, I support you to make sure that you are on the right track towards your goals. We adjust your weekly schedule, diet and lifestyle habits so that they work for you.
